Dear Shirley and Mike
We want to thank you for your hospitality during our visit this past summer. We appreciated you opening your home to your "cousins from Ontario" during one of your busiest times. What a wonderful bed and breakfast you have! We had the honour of staying in the Bridal Suite - an outstanding suite for sure!. Mike's breakfast skillet was great! We got to see first hand how you treat your guests and would highly recommend your bed and breakfast to anyone. We really enjoyed our sightseeing visits with you to the Mall of America and other local tourist attractions such as the SPAM museum. We are looking forward to our next visit with you.

Dear Mike and Shirley
We want to thank you for the great time we had while at your B&B. We stayed in the Green Room and I am amazed at how much more we got for our money compared to the other motels we stayed at the rest of the week, which cost us more money. The breakfast was out of this world. I hated to leave any, but there was so much to eat. We felt like we were staying in luxury with all the fine furnishings. I don't know how Shirley finds so many nice things. She sure has a nack for decorating. She keeps it so spotless you don't want to mess anything up. I've never seen such a brilliant shine on shower walls and floor. Mostly we would like to come back to have a visit with you. You were both so nice to us, and we loved your company. If anyone is looking for two nice friends and a great place to stay, they should stay with you.

Words alone could never express our gratitude for the wonderful hospitality extended to us this past weekend while staying at the Ice Haus. Mike, it was truly a pleasure meeting and getting to know you and Shirley. The Ice Haus's charm coupled with your dynamic personalities, kindness and consideration make the Ice Haus all the more charming. Ronnie and I truly enjoyed our stay in the Bridal Suite - we actually felt like we were on our honeymoon again! I was utterly amazed at how "spotless" we found the Ice Haus. We also found the food to be not only exquisite in taste, but in presentation as well. I hope that Ronnie and I have the opportunity again to visit you both and stay at the Ice Haus in the future. Shirley opened the door and greeted us so graciously - we knew we were going to be treated to a wonderful weekend!
The decorating is like walking into a million dollar model home! Everything is exquisite!
Our purple room was fantastic! Everything is so clean and spotless! The food is absolutely phenomenal!
Everything is delicious! The presentation is like a picture! Mike, you continually outdid your previous performance!
Scrumptious! Mmmmmm- we still can savor the moment of putting each forkful into our mouths!
We wanted to stay at an extra special B&B to celebrate our special Anniversary -
and your "Ice Haus" totally exceeded our expectations! We have highly recommended your B&B to our friends,
family and co-workers and several plan on calling you to make their reservation.
We were so surprised to open the Travel section of Sunday's paper, 062605, and discover an article on Austin,
the SPAM Museum, and your "Ice Haus"! What perfect timing!

Ok... Gentlemen are you looking to be a BIG HIT with your lady???????Folks are you looking for a B & B with Unsurpassed class! Unsurpassed Food! Unsurpassed Spacious accomadations ! With a set of Innkeepers that will help make ANY dream come true? Stop LQQKING you have found It!
My girlfriend who lives in another state and I travel once a month to a B & B in the upper midwest..We take turns selecting the venue and the lodging, entertainment and dining.
It was my turn this month and I wanted to take her somewhere that we good enjoy an evening at the symphony...But alas we are between seasons...SOOOOO... I called IceHaus and told Shirley that I needed something special... She said hold on let me get Mike on the line.....
Here is what happened next ....
Mike spent days calling around all over and found a way to bring the symphony to the IceHaus...
Then they created for us a private 10 course dinner!! In their Beautiful dining room!!, Gorgeously Set, an ABSOLUTELY breathtaking trio of highly accomplished symphony strings musicians to play in the living room adjoining the formal dinning room!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mike the MASTER organized everything Shirley and Mike personally served us and handled every minuet detail write down to wonderful place cards, with poetry and a single yellow rose for my lovely lady....He did this while keeping me in the loop via countless EM's
Best example is he would send a EM listing what was done what he was working on..then ask at the end "Is there anything else you think I should be doing?"
Mike and Shirley created the event of a lifetime for us.....The WHOLE thing went out without a single hitch!!!!!. Mike even planned an entrance so My sweetie would not know to the last second what was going on!!! We are coming back next month and are making the Bridal suite our summer retreat...They may be the Innkeepers but, we LOVE them as our friends...
Also, They performed this magnificent feat in spite of the fact that Mike's brother was very ill and passed the night before we left...Yet He created the most beautiful breakfast we have ever had before they had to leave to make arrangements...Mikes words "The show must go on!
These are truly talented caring and wonderful people who's facilities are kept BEYOND BELIEF clean and SANITARY! (Shirley's department) Everything SPOTLESS!
People, do not miss a chance to stay here...You will NEVER forget it! You will never feel more comfortable or at home anywhere you roam! Plus STUFFED with the finest food I have ever had anywhere!
Dearest Mike....Thanks for helping my dream for Debbie come true!!! You know I love you!

Thank You to you and Shirley for being so helpful and hospitable when my friend and I stayed with you a month ago. You have an absolutely beautiful Bed & Breakfast, and your cooking is amazing.
We loved the hot tub and comfortable bed and colors in the room. I appreciate all the effort you and your wife put into your bed and breakfast…We actually did have a very romantic weekend at you place for Sweetest Day.
I have the Spam Finger Recipe posted in my Kitchen. I actually love SPAM and might try the recipe.

Just wanted to thank you for such a nice stay at your bed and breakfast.
We went down to Moline Ill. and went through the John Deere facilities there.
Back home on Monday. When friends asked Ralph about his trip, all he could talk
about was the bed and breakfast. And that says alot as he has been a "John Deere" man his entire life.
We really enjoyed ourselves and we will recommend the Ice Haus in
Dexter, MN, to our friends and family. You certain have a beautiful place. Hope this finds you well.

We the friends from Wisconsin and South Dakota would like to thank you from the bottoms of ours hearts. What a great time we had. Your place is the best and we promise we will be spending our "vacations" there from now on. Truly enjoyed the food, thank you so much for the "doggy" bags. I was there. I am a stuffed bear, so naturally, I have special dietary requirements. My favorite innkeepers made me fresh hot chocolate chip cookies and Starbuck Coffee for afternoon snack. I came to town for the SPAM Museum Jam. So,for breakfast, I had a can of SPAM with real Honey. (Mom and Dad ate lots of really fancy food that I don't know the names of.) I stayed in the bridal suite with Mom and Dad. Exquisite? Of course. But they got the bed, and I had to sleep in the big comfy chair! Can't wait till I get to come back and stay again!

Mike & Shirley went out of their way to accomodate my food limitations. I am gluten intolerant and they made sure that I had gluten free brownies and a wonderful gluten free cranberry coffee cake for breakfast. The purple room is wonderful. I would consider staying at the Ice Haus again. Web site is wonderful !

We were treated like royalty from the time we arrived until the time we left. The Ice Haus is like a country get-a-way with an open, fresh atmosphere and elegant landscaping. Yet it’s locations is so convenient, less than a minute from I-90. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated and a pleasure to occupy. The food is plentiful, delicious, and makes you think you are at a four star restaurant. Top this with the warmest of genuine hospitality and you have a combination that cannot be beat.

I found the Ice Haus while on business in Minnesota. I was traveling in the area and too tired to drive back to the Twin Cities. Imagine my surprise at finding this B&B. The "Innkeepers" were very friendly and entertaining. I was so impressed, I brought my husband for a long weekend stay. We stayed in the Bridal Suite. WOW!! Everything was wonderful. It definitely was worth every penny. I personally recommend the pink room or the bridal suite. You won't be disappointed. Mike and Shirley, see you next time we're in the area.

We have stayed at the IceHaus several times and have always been treated like family. The Adams' truly make sure you are not hungry or thirsty. They have sent us home with many great recipes that are ususally created in their kitchen. Our favorite room is the Purple Room, although the bridal suite is great. The whirlpool tub makes the world disappear!
We hope to be back soon.
